Summer is here!

Exams are finally over! Time to enjoy the holidays!

Going back to SG soon, feeling excited yet a little sad to leave. Its starting to get real hot over here. Suddenly there's lots of houseflies that were hibernating during winter and now its nice and warm they can't wait to say hi to us humans. And they do so by flying into our faces. WTH!!! Everyone walking along the streets have their hands flinging infront of their faces (even kids in prams!). But summer fruits sure are nice. Suddenly the market became so colourful! Lots of cherries, strawberries, HUGE watermelons and bananas! Really delicious!

Anyways, I'm really going to miss KC when I go back to SG, but its something that I have to live with and learn to adapt. I knew from the start that one day we will have to be apart for awhile, I take this as a kind of test for the both of us. I still believe in true love that will withstand time and space.

I really hope this is the one.

Was talking to my mum on MSN earlier on today, she said my dad misses me alot. So yea, I really want to spend some quality time with my parents. I've really made them worried and upset before, and its time I play my role as a good daughter and make them happy this summer.

Countdown!

Its that time of the year AGAIN! The dreaded EXAMS.

Well this semester's timing is much better than the last one I must say. The previous exams were dragged over too long a period. This time its much nicely spaced out. 5,7,9 and 12 Nov. Not too far apart, this way I can stay more focused. Good thing the first paper isn't in Oct so I still have some time to study. Poor KC on the other hand has his first paper on the 25 Oct, but he'll be fine. He somehow always manges to do well.

Just can't wait for exams to be over so we can take a real long break. Heading back to Singapore on 22 Nov. KC should be going back to KL around that time. We should be visiting each other during the 3-month break. So fun! Can't wait!!

Oh yea, Faith came over in the beginning of the week. Had fun catching up and all. She's like my radio from Singapore updating me with everything I need to know. The next time we catch up should be when I go back, then we'll have our bitching session with the rest of the babes. :P

Backache!

I've been having a very bad back lately, and trust me it's not due to bedroom activities. I suffered from a slipped disc last year and boy am I suffering the long-term effects of it. I can't sit properly, walk long distances, and worst of all I CANNOT SHOP! (due to long walking hours I will be in pain at the end of the shopping trip)

I've been contemplating to see a chiropractor to see if they can help ease my pain, but I don't know which one to go to. sigh.... I've been sleeping on the heat pad at night, but it doesn't help at all!

I think I'll try sleeping on the floor tonight.

Break, Broken, Broke

Its mid-sem break, finally!! After 2 weeks of never ending assignments its finally time for a rest. Although there are still 2 more assignments due after the break.

Ok lah not that much later anyway, the break is only a week. So let me play a few days then I'll start doing work.

Well I know I have not been updating for a REAL LONG time. That's cos I'm busy like i said...DARN ASSIGNMENTS!

I've been a real GOOD GIRL! I've not been shopping for like 3 months! UNBELIEVABLE! I KNOW! But it's true, and you want to know the real reason why?

That is because I AM FAT. PERIOD.

I am really trying to lose a bit of my hamburger (that's what KC calls it) so i can fit into my clothes. The only thing I can wear now are T-shirts. I know. Disgusting. In order to do so I have motivated myself by setting a target. If I am able to lose 5 kgs then will I go on a little shopping trip.

Enough talking about my fats, I have 2 guests at my humble house this break. It's KC and his sister! Well, their house needs a little repair on the floorboards so they are staying at my house for the time being. Most probably for 2 weeks. I made them go with me to the Richmond to get groceries to stock the fridge. Spent like almost $200 on food! Can u believe that? We're like stocking up for war or something.

Yesterday was mid-autumn festival, you know the one where people eat mooncakes and play with lanterns. Yeah, that one. I cooked us quite a nice dinner of lotus root soup, salt & pepper chicken ribs, steamed fish, and asparagus. Of course there was mooncake for dessert and a little ice-cream.

We've really been homies, staying home just watching Foxtel and playing PS2. Guess this will be the itinerary for the next few days.

American Vs English

Was watching a pool tournament on TV earlier this afternoon, the 2 players were from America and Europe. At first the European was in the lead with 4 games but the result ended with the American winning.

Its quite obvious that pool is more of an American game and its only fair for the American to win. So KC and i were talking about how Americans are more rugged and suit more casual games. Whereas Europeans and English are more suited for more classy games, like in this case they seem more suited for snooker instead of pool. So we came to a conclusion that English people are more classy and Americans are more slack.

So then the next show was "Maury Povich" and the episode was reviewing the Top 10 most dramatic Paternity Test episodes. We were just shaking our heads throughout the show. How can Americans be so "casual"?! Outrages!

Is the society we live in actually like that? Its so sad that we being superior beings compared to animals actually lead such destructive lives. SAD...

Sheer Madness

The past 2 weeks have been really CRAZY!! I've been out almost everyday since i got back to Melbourne. I've not sorted out my school work yet, and i have yet to meet some friends that i was suppose to meet for a real long time. 3rd week of school just ended but i'm still in a holiday mood!!! This really sucks!

Anyways...i had lots of fun in Brisbane. Fed Kangaroos, carried a Koala, sat in a huge ferris wheel, walked along the beaches of Gold Coast n Noosa, had seafood, watched Transformers n Fantastic 4, went to Sea World, strawberry picking, and clubbing of cos. Got real drunk that night, i'm so sorry that i called my friend and scolded him.

Came back to Melbourne after 5 days in Brisbane, stayed another 2 days then went back to Singapore. Was there for a week, nothing much to do other than meet up with some friends and clubbing. Didn't really get to eat all the hawker food though...sadness!

Came back to Melbourne and had a really crazy time! Been seeing Jon almost everyday cos he's going back Sg to serve NS. Good luck Jon!! Btw Jon went back today, we just came back from the airport. We had dinner at Waterfront@Port Melbourne last Saturday, the food sucked! BOO!!! Zoo, Phillip Island, Ktv and Equinox. Had fun before he left lah.

Finally realised after a long time that i am actually in love with my friend. He felt the same way when i wasn't around and so we are together now. SHOCKER!! I know....tell me about it! For people who know us: YES! Its him! Ng Kok Choong. He's my boyfriend now. Its a little wierd but we're really happy now, cos we really like each other for who we are. Yes i know, corny. BLEAH! I'm happy n i don't care!

Gwen Stefani was here for a 2-day concert, Farah, Jeane n i went for the Friday one. It wasn't as fantastic as I thought it would be, but overall it was nice. We couldn't get good seats and we were seated on the side of the stage so we couldn't get a full view of the stage. But still we enjoyed ourselves that night.

Yup...so there u have it! Finally updated! Let me live through the next week to tell u guys more interesting stuff.
