Pathetic Life

We are living together and we hardly go out. Now to make things worse, we hardly even have sex. Like we only do it during the safe period which is like the week after my period ends. He really needs to know that I will get imbalanced during PMS. So if he only wants to have sex after my period, he has to go out with me for movie or something during PMS. If not I'll just go MAD! That stupid guy!!!!

Back From GC

Yes! I'm back! It was quite hot at GC, the sun was so glaring I was having persistent headaches all the time. But it was very fun, except for the last day. The first day we went to Movie World, which we found the most fun out of the 3 worlds that we visited. We sat on all the rides, except for one which I didn't want to get wet so I gave it a miss, but I helped KY take a picture as she was coming out.



The next day we visited Sea World, it wasn't as fun as Movie World cos I guess it wasn't so much of thrill rides, but still it was OK. It was nice to see the sea lions, dolphins and what not. We had breakkie at Pancake Paradise before heading off. The funniest thing was I ordered the all you can eat pancakes, but I only ate like 3 pancakes. The girl was sniggering at me. SO embarrassing!





As seen in the picture I bought KY a polar bear, its very nice and cuddly, but I decided not to get KC one cos he can hug me instead if he needs to hug something at night. HAHA! Well, we spent that night at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Guided tour to see the nocturnal creatures, we even had pictures taken with a baby croc and some snake. It was pretty fun and we thought the lady photographer was cool, but I think she's gay.





We were dead tired when we got back to the hotel, we just K.O.ed right after our showers. I was very tired but glad I was going back to Melbourne, cos I kinda missed KC. I really wished he was there with us the whole time. The next morning we went to Dream World, which we found totally not fun at all. It was like a total waste of our money, cos we felt sick after the first ride. The sun was SO glaring that day I was having a perpetual headache.



Except for the tigers on tiger island, the cubs were so cute, and the big ones looked beautiful. But I really didn't understand why the keepers had to be inside the parameters to keep the tigers apart.





We flew back that night and came back home to a nice hot shower and supper. KC made us sweet chilli chicken and chips. Isn't he sweet? Awwwww....

24 Hours

In less than 24 hours, Kit Yee and I will be in the sunny land of Gold Coast. This is so exciting for us. It's the first time we're going on a trip together, just the two of us. Although it's the second time for me, but I'm still so thrilled. I guess it's because I only visited Sea World when I was there my first time. This time round, we'll be going to Movie World, Dream World and Sea World, and it's with KIT YEE!! That's a hell lot of thrill rides u can sit in 3 days. Hope we don't lose our minds.

Excitement here we come!

While the two of us are enjoying ourselves. Our poor KC is here doing his last exam. I feel so bad leaving him behind like this. BUT, even if he already finished his exams, he wouldn't have followed us. Cos he is SO BUSY. He has A LOT of work to do, but he will be unwinding with his friends with drinks and KTV before he starts work. I hope he enjoys himself without us, and Forensic Heroes 2.

We're planning on not sleeping tonight, just TV and Wii till 5am to take the first train to Spencer Street to catch the Skybus to the airport. Our flight is at 7am. Gosh, that is damn hell of an early flight! We're still waiting for Bren to decide if she wants to tag along with us. Well, she has less than 12 hours to decide. If she does come along, Dopey is gonna be KC's companion for the next 4 days. Aw, they'll be so cute doing boys things together.

Till then it's gonna be some Foxtel, Wii Fit then steamboat dinner. Yums!!

Ugly Sesame Bagels

My bagels were not that successful, but they tasted not too bad for a first attempt.


However, they are ugly. Yes, UGLY. And it just so happened that Mackers here has a new breakfast bagel with ham, and they were promoting it on TV. My dearest boyfriend had to go, "Eh B, why your bagel go different from the one on TV leh? Theirs like very smooth, how come yours so uneven one?" I was like, "Cos theirs is machine made, whereas mine is made with LOVE." I WIN. hahaha! Who cares if it looks good or bad, as long as it tastes good. I'll try again next time.

BTW, the recipe was suppose to make 12 bagels, I only ended up with 7.

I Wonder If...

I wonder if you people actually read my blog. Am I blogging for nothing? Cos nobody leaves comments.

Hmmm... I'm starting to wonder.

OH WTH.

I'm waiting for the sesame bagels to bake. They are in the oven now, my first attempt. Thanks to Bren I'm trying to make them. Cos it costs $3.90 each at Starbucks, and we can't find it anywhere else. I'm trying to make a bunch now that costs me less than $3.90, if it works its going to be Stephy's bagels from now on.

Drama Queen Visits Melbourne

I'm much better from the stupid flu. Just a little more to clear up. Hopefully its cleared before going over to Gold Coast. My stupid period is still not here yet, I hope it comes tomorrow.

Main topic: Daphne Wang the Drama Queen was here in Melbourne a few weeks back for a holiday. Obviously we had to spend time with each other. We rented a 'manual' Hyundai Getz, and I brought her to Yarra Valley to visit the wineries, and I bought her lunch at Yering Station.

We had alot of fun, its been so long since we last went out and really enjoyed ourselves. The next day I even cooked dinner for the lot. Lamb chops, french beans and ABC soup.

We also had dinner at Chapel Street, together with KC and Bren.

When it was time for her to return to Singapore, it was so unbearable. It was fun having her around, we really laughed a lot. Stupid bitch, really miss you a lot.

The Flu Bug

The flu bug had to hitch a ride when I had a tummy ache. Thanks to my unhealthy body that I caught a flu. Its been a long time since I last fell ill. I forgot how it felt like to be sick. That feeling when you are about to sneeze but suddenly it got stuck somewhere and goes up your nose again with the acute pain and tears form at the corner of your eye as a result. That's a sick feeling.

Tummy ache on Sunday, flu on Monday till today. I feel much better today, after all the flu pills and ginger tea. Talked to mum today, and she told me that dad just realised that I haven't started school. He asked how come I didn't go back with her and let me slack here. HAHAHA. I sneaked a break without him knowing, and now it's too late! But I do feel like going back, miss home somehow. Weird. I miss Ah Gu and Baxter and Nosey.

Don't want Can't wait for uni to start!! hehe

Oyster Disaster

I had a BAD tummy ache. A real bad one. The pain was unbearable. It came like a storm and lasted for less than 5 minutes. This went on throughout the night, right after dinner all the way till 1am. It was relentless, it didn't go away even at 4am in the morning. It was so painful that I had to fall asleep to the pain.

Why did this happen? All because I had to eat oyster egg. We bought 2 dozen oysters on Saturday and was planning to make oyster egg. But we had too much sushi that day, so we thought of saving it for the next day. So I cooked it last night, and paid the price for it. Not only a tummy ache, but also I missed Armin Only. I feel SO BAD, cos Bren only bought my ticket yesterday, we even arranged to meet in the city and go together. I was quite excited about going, but the tummy wouldn't help. It just had to torture me throughout the night.

It's really funny, cos it's only when I eat oysters here that I get a tummy ache. Back home in SG, I can eat all the oysters I want and be OK. But here, it just doesn't work. This is the 2nd time I've had to go through this excruciating process. I've learnt my lesson, and I've learnt it well. I'm never eating oysters here ever again. Unless they are 100% cooked.

Fat Sushi

We made sushi yesterday and it wasn't too bad for our first attempt. Just that our rice portions were a little too fat. Instead of bite size it was mouth full size. So when you put the whole thing in your mouth, you will look like a hamster that just stuffed its mouth full with sunflower seeds.



The rice was a little hard too, it would be nice if it was slightly more soft and sticky. KY and I kept thinking of opening a Japanese cafe near our place, cos there's no Jap food around this area. If we do open one it will be a sellout. There's a few offices and the lunch crowd is really not bad. Plus, I've just went for a coffee barista course. So I can make that perfect cup of coffee with a real espresso machine.

Well that's all nothing but talk, how can we possibly run a business while being full-time students. I guess we'll just leave that thought for later.

I'm going for Armin later with Bren and Mel, quite excited cos its been a long time since Godskitchen 2006. I'm only afraid that my back will not last as long as I want it to. Been having backaches again recently. Can't stand up for too long, if not it will hurt quite a fair bit. I think I need to make an appointment with the chiropractor soon.

Weird Feelings

Today just feels WEIRD.

It's COLD.

I feel SAD.

Is it PMS? But it's a little too soon for that.

I just signed up for a barista course. $250 bucks, 2 days. Tomorrow and Friday. I guess this will help me to kill time. Everyone is busy and stress about the upcoming exams. ME? I'm relaxing at home doing nothing. Well I did do SOMETHING today. Called the agent to fix the ceiling, called VCAT about my bond refund, emailed the country club about my absence, signed up for barista course, and called Telstra to get my Foxtel connected.

Telstra really SUCKS. Period.

This is the second time I've called them and both times they made me wait like half hour, and the problem is still not solved. And guess what? They asked me to call back AGAIN. Not only Telstra. VCAT as well. I called to find out that they sent the cheque to the wrong address. How DUMB can one get?? How can 79 sound like 99? Now I have to fill up a form and SNAIL MAIL back to them. This is going to take FOREVER, just to get $1522 back. I guess I need to go to the post office before is closes later.

I somehow miss home. I feel like flying back. Should I go back after Armin and come back when they finish exams? I feel so UNWANTED, like I'm a waste of space.

Now I'm not only SAD, but I feel like an empty eggshell.
